I'm cutting back plants and would rather send out some unrooted cuttings than toss them. I'd like to send out a set of a number of different kinds of cuttings to one or two people. I'd prefer to do this on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week, to people who can Paypal the postage immediately. It will likely be 1 or 2 pounds, from California. The amount I can send depends on the plant, of course.

I'll make an arbitrary decision where to send the cuttings, not necessarily to whomever responds quickly.

Comments on rooting:

Rooting may depend highly on time of year attempted, etc. I'll give my experiences, usually during warmer months.

Passiflora sanguinolenta. Roots easily in water.
Passiflora 'Preciosa'. 2-node cuttings with one leaf root easily in water.
Aristolochia macroura (trilobata). Requires bottom heat to root, but then even single-node cuttings root easily in perlite.
Deppea obtusiflora. Roots easily in perlite.
Jovellana violacea. Roots very, very slowly in perlite. Tiny tip cuttings are best.
Cupheas: sp. 'Minnie Mouse', 'Strybing Sunset', ignea white. 'Minnie Mouse' easy in water.
Monopsis lutea (Gold Lobelia). Failed one time I tried to root it. I'll include a piece with some roots + limited unrooted cuttings.
Bulbine frutescens (orange plus yellow form). Comes with aerial roots, or roots trivially.
Dahlia imperialis (unbloomed, sold as typical pink). Leafless stem cuttings can be rooted in loose, moist soil. Hopefully cutting will be short enough to easily ship...Would send one or possibly two cuttings.

Comments on temperature/hardiness:

Passiflora sanguinolenta. Zone 9, at least.
Passiflora 'Preciosa'. Zone 10, probably needs no frost.
Aristolochia macroura (trilobata). Zone 9
Deppea obtusiflora. Zone 10. Cool Grower. Will likely die in heat.
Jovellana violacea. Zone 9? Cool Grower, I think.
Cupheas: sp. "Minnie Mouse", 'Strybing Sunset', ignea white. I'm not sure what these will survive, but I think frost kills them back.
Monopsis lutea (Gold Lobelia). Zone 9? Heat tolerance unclear to me.
Bulbine frutescens (orange plus yellow form. Zone 9.
Dahlia imperialis (unbloomed, sold as typical pink). Blooms late November/December. May not be worth it if frost happens before then.
