Bacterial mennengitis

We discovered today that a boy from my sons middle school has mennengitis it is just awful he has been in a coma and they have said if he does not have any sign of brain activity by morning they are removing him from life support. His poor parents. Please keep this boy and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

I have an awful update, this beautiful 13 year old boy died today. I am just beside myself he was so young and innocent.

Heather, I am so sorry to hear about your update. These things are just so hard to bear much less understand. I will keep his family in my prayers as well as your son. I'm sure this is hard for him, too. Nikki

My daughter has a friend who nearly died from bacterial mennengitis his first year in college. Fortunately, he recovered but they had to remove 7 of is fingers. He teaches music now in spite of his disability. This can be a fatal illness and was for this 13 year olds family. My prayers go out to them. Please get your children vaccinated for this horrible illness.
