Howdy everyone, hope you've been well and not having too cold temps, hope this to be the last cold spell of the season, 28 deg in here now, near New Orleans.
My Coreopsis (Plains and Sweet Dreams) are looking damaged but will make a come back. I saved flowerheads that were brown but not dried, not wanting them to freeze. Question is, how long does it take for seeds to form from the time flowers bloom off? How long should I have left them on the plant? good day to all,

| Hi Bea, I leave them on the plant until the seed heads are almost totally brown. I let them dry for a week or two after I pick them before storing the seeds. We're having a heat wave here. It's 22. Louise |
