I grew a vine this past year and had no idea what it was. Bloom was pinkish..vine traveled all over but only one bean looking object on it. Huge thing it was..like a over sized green bean. How do find out what this is? Started to dry out today so I picked it. Opened it up and it has pink seeds. Anybody know what it is??? Any help is appreciated.. Thanks. Bev p.s. or where do i post to get the identity??

It sounds like either Canvalia gladiata, sword bean, or Canvalia ensiformis, Jack Bean.

Many thanks to ya'll. Yes poisondartfrog..that's it. Looked it up and sure enough you are right. Guess I'll have more this year. Think I'll plant them with the loofa's and maybe add some moonvine in there too. Add some color. .Happy gardening & hurry up spring. thanks.
