| I'll be going to Bangalore India in Feb. Are there any suggestions about bringing back seeds, and perhaps what kind to look for? I'm not even sure if I could get seeds through customs, but maybe......! |

| If it were me I would check for conditions that are close to my own area ie. drought resistant, zone 7, that sort of thing. For trading, I would gather those that theoretically could be grown in some part of the continental US (zones 3 through 9 ish. You are more likely to be able to bring back commercial seed if you can find them but you might be able to check with US customs prior to leaving to find out what the rules are. |

| Mail them back to yourself, a friend, or relative in small packages and save yourself a bunch of trouble. Unless you get permits it might be hard, and it will probably be hard to get permits over there. |
