| Just wondering if anyone has had good luck with getting new plants of Grape Hyacinth by planting the seeds. I know the small bulbs re-propigate but would like to grow even more with the seed. They are the cutes little stalks of blue flowers.
Also, how long before they start to flower? Thanks,

| Hi Cindy! IRC, They need 16 weeks of cold treatment. I was planning to plant some of these this winter, but the seeds were hiding someplace until this week, when they somehow appeared right under the desk here. Funny, cuz I thoroughly cleaned this room right before turkey day and AGAIN before xmas. NO IDEA how they got where I found them. They prolly are going in the fridge. Im not sure how long they take to bloom, prolly couple years. :) |
