Kathy, I believe it is done with HTML, but must warn you that there are some members who have problems with some of the fancy stuff.

Often the background makes the list just plain hard to read/see. I and others sometimes just skip those members pages.

Some have music,,,again, some members just pass over those.

Some have pics...lots of pics...lots of big pics...like many KB in size. Again...some members just pass over those.

I can remember being on dial-up. Some things really slow down a members page when it loads, and is just too time consuming.

Well, Kathy, I'm sorry if I rained on your parade, but will just hope that what the others said in that thread helped with your decision.

What I do like to see is the use of HTML to make some things bold and for organization....kind of like my plants are listed.

I find some particularly long lists hard to follow when there are numerous varieties of many things listed. They all seem to just run together.

Nope, didn't rain on it! I just wasn't thinking about dial up browsers. I remember being really frustrated with content saturated sites when i was still on dial up. I'm trying to make use of the bullets and caps. I'll have to dig up some of my HTML codes, haven't used them in a LOOONG time, but I'll find the ones for bolding and colors and font sizes and use them to make it easier on the eyes!
