What is the best temperature to transplant the bittermelon seedlings to the outside garden? I am in zone 6. My little babies are ready to go but here zone 6 is still too cold.

how long did it take you to germinate the bittermelon, i planted some several weeks ago but they still havent come up, i even have hot pepper seeds that have germinated since then so maybe the seeds i planted are not viable?

Don't put them in the garden until it's fairly warm. In zone 7a I would put them out in May.

I plant them before and I am in zone 5. Don't transplant them until late May or after last frost. I harvest mine melons in late August.
