well...is a deer snorting at you at night while you're sitting on your bench a good thing?....sounded sorta scary actually....geez..I think I'm living in a wild life refuge or something..."L"

LOL actually our pretty lucky the deer even came up that close to ya!! ummmm L animals just love ya don't they!! :')) should ya feel lucky or what?? i'm not sure!! i think i woulda been scared silly, then after all said and done i woulda been really happy feeling!! :')) that is totally awesome!!! that is way cool beans!!! talla's buttercups are growing good!! :')) YAY!!!! i'll have to send ya a pic!! i can't wait till they bloom!! :')) we have LOTS of weeding to do!! LOL Medo

i had then snort at me but thats all they do is snort lol if its one snort their seeing what you are. if its a few snorts their warning the other deer.

I've heard snorts when picking blackberries, and while hunting...I take it to mean hmmmm.... They will then 'whistle' (like) too to alert tthe others to high tail it out of there. I've often wondered just where the term 'high tail' came from....and wondered if it might have come from deer in flight....(running away...not flying)
