Name That Favorite Gardening Quote, or any favorite quote ...

I am needing some favorite quotes for a woodburning project that I am doing for Christmas. So I would love to hear all your favorite quotes and please list the author of the quote. If you don't know the author then please list "author unknown" after the quote. Here's some I like:

"Life just blooms when your a gardener." author unknown

"One climbs highest who helps another up." author unknown

"The Lord bless you and keep you." Numbers 6:24

If there are websites with quotes would love to hear about them too. And if you know the author for the first 2 quotes above would love to know that too.

Enjoy this post,
quiltingfox

I love this!!!! Here is something I have been trying to figure out how to use is a craft project:

ALL I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT LIFE, I LEARNED FROM GARDENING

1. It's ok to be a late bloomer!
2. Always try to be outstanding in your field!
3. Remember it's important to branch out!
4. People with lawns have mow fun!
5. You always reap what you sow!
6. Weed out the annoyances in your life!
7. Some problems are prennials!
8. We all have our own row to hoe!

If anyone has any suggestions , send them this way, Janet

This one is kinda long, but I still love it!

THE GARDEN OF DAILY LIVING
PLANT THREE ROWS OF PEAS
peas of mind, peas of heart, peas of soul
PLANT FOUR ROWS OF SQUASH
squash gossip, squash indifference, squash grumbling, squash selfishness
PLANT FOUR ROWS OF LETTUCE
lettuce be faithful, lettuce be kind, lettuce be patient, lettuce really love one another
NO GARDEN IS COMPLETE WITHOUT TURNIPS
turnip for meetings, turnip for service, turnip to help one another
WE MUST ALSO INCLUDE THYME
thyme for each other, thyme for family, thyme for friends
Water freely with happiness and cultivate with love.
There will be much fruit in your garden because you reap what you sow.
