| Just had to share a true wonderful story. I recently posted a question on the Succulent forum trying to find a certain plant. I got an answer from a GW'er in Canada. The user name struck me as rather curious. So I sent off an email and anxiously waited for a reply. Trying hard not to hope, yet couldnt help from doing so. Tonight I got my answer. The person that answered me ( from the millions that pass through here) was my brother. Way too long ago we lost track of each other, for various reasons, no idea how to find him again. Yet here of all places!! I thank God first. And the GW second. This is beyond amazing. Yet wonderful, and very real. |

| That is awesome beyond awesome lol...thank God for using Garden Web...it's a wonderful tool to begin with and this makes it more special :)...and another thing that's good to see is that you and your brother have gardening in common!!! |

| That's amazing!! So happy for you! I also wanted you to know that I know what you're feeling. I have an older sister whom I had never gotten met (my biological mother adopted her to another family when she was a baby before I was born). I had grown up knowing that she existed, but that was it. I never thought I'd meet her. Late one night I was heavily pregnant and couldn't sleep a couple of years back, so I was fooling around on google. I found a facebook post from a girl looking for our shared biological father and mother. I was floored. When I saw her photo, I was so overwhelmed. So, I quickly made a facebook account and contacted her. Since then, we talk regularly. It's amazing how similar we are, even though we had completely different childhoods. Again, I am so happy for you. The joy when you find someone like that out of chance is just... well, there are no words. |

| I saw your post to Jeff and I was a little confused about what was going on. Glad that it turns out that this site allowed a family reunion. You should be proud of your brother - he contributes some fantastic info and great photos of succulents here! |
