| Aloha all,
Because of a sudden health crisis which has worsened progressively during much of October, my dearest (Grovespirit) has been unable to get some seed trades out on time. The problem is still ongoing; she goes back to the hospital Nov5 to see a specialist. We hope that she will still be able to send all the seeds owed, eventually. Iris is struggling now even with the most basic things such as cooking, sleeping, eating, and walking, because of how the illness is affecting her. We have no idea when Iris will be well enough to get all caught up with hobby stuff such as various late seed trades. Patience is appreciated. :) The way things are going with Grovespirit's health, she may even need to stop or reduce all gardening and related activities for a while, to save time and energy for treatment. | I am not doing a trade with her,but wanted to post anyway! :) My thoughts and prayers will be with her and you through this hard time and I send the biggest hugs! I am sure there is no inconvenience to anyone,what matters is she take the time for healing she needs. I hope to see her back on her feet soon,she will be missed! :) |

| I do have a seed trade with Iris but it's her health I'm concerned for not the trade. If you can, please keep us updated as to how she is doing. Let her know she is in my prayers as well. Cindy |

| Iris, I'm so sorry to read this. I've appreciated all your advice in the past. I hope you can pop in when you feel well enough. In the meantime, concentrate on yourself & build up your strength. We'll still be here when your feeling better. Best wishes, Becky |

| There are a few of us over on the Round Robin Forum in the New Dozen/Dozen swap who would like to send Iris some of the seeds she had asked for. Our problem is that we need an address to send to. We thought it might cheer her up a bit to get some early Christmas presents. If anyone here could Email me and give us a mailing address, it would be greatly appreciated. We all want her to get well and rejoin her "other family" out here on the web. She's in our daily prayers. Please help us. Ted |

| i know that when we chatted she said that she sends vege seeds to like shelters or something like them, they are places that grow food, and give them to poorer people. and she sends them to people who she knows needs them including her sister. iris is one of those angels that you rarely see. she has so much in her that you rarely know about till you get into a long conversation with her, which i totally adore!! please, if anyone talks to her, let her know that we are praying for her. many (((HUGS))) ~Medo |

| Aloha Everyone, I am doing better now! If you are one of the numerous GardenWebbers who sent me a Get-well card, seeds, or a Christmas card, you have my thanks! :) It has been a joy getting all these lovely cards and gifts of seeds, and I am sure the positive energy is helping me feel better. I am doing a bit better in regards to my health. Have decided I can resume seed trading. I will be all caught up with everything by tomorrow!! :) I am still waiting for one more surgery but because this issue is not life threatening I could be waiting several months. I have been learning some pain management skills to help me get by until I can be scheduled for surgery. Continued prayers for my complete recovery would be a blessing. Apparently the folks in the dozen dozen tomato swap got my address. TY to whoever passed it on. :) Thanks very much to the dozen dozen tomato group, the Secret Santa forum, and all you cool peoplez here for sending me cards, occasionally containing the seeds I was most interested in!!
