| My son came home singing this today and I was rolling. It is a very interactive song for the little kiddos:
5 little monkeys swinging from the tree, teasing mr. alligator you can't catch me, (waving his little finger in the air) along came mr. alligator quiet as can be, (hands together at the wrists opening and closing quietly) and snapped that monkey right out of the tree. (arms together in one big hand clap)
4 little monkeys swinging from the tree. etc. ... 1 little monkey swinging from the tree, etc. Don't know who wrote it, but it sure is cute. And in Louisiana we can't help but have songs with alligators in them. Hope you get as much entertainment from this song as we did here. :-) Best to you and Happy Thanksgiving,
