I have a ton of what I have always known as Piney bushes around my new house. I went and collected the seeds and went to list them only to find out that either I'm spelling it wrong or that is not the plants name, just a pass along one.

please help

Hi pic,

I saw your post, and wondered also just what you might have.

If the flowers are similar to any of the ones at the link below, then what you have are Peonies.

Peonies typically bloom in late May here, and are usually in colors of white, or varying shades of pink or red. There are other colors though also. Blooms range from single to fully double blooms. Some are very fragrant, and others have no noticeable fragrance.

If what you have are actually peonies, you might add the color if it is known.

what I thought was piney bush seems to be coneflower. I'm not %100 sure that I harvested the seeds right, I roughed up the dead flower heads inside a paper sack until all of the seeds fell off and revealed the cone underneath. I'll go change my list now.
