    weird!
my email has always been unblocked, and i have received many emails here in the last week. but when i tried to email you i couldnt either. so maybe garden web is particularly glitchy lately....

Dear Leilahamaya, I do not know which type of quava. It is about golf ball size and yellow when ripe. Smells really good and makes a refreshing drink. We can not grow them at our zone and elevation. My mother's house is by the beach.

cool, sounds like yellow guava = i have a bunch of those going, but i would love some more seed. might be somewhat different.

guava is pretty hardy, and i think thats the hardiest kind. i am pushing my zone a little starting these, but i think i can get them to eventually fruit. i have a little greenhouse area...they are over wintering ok. its not quite the climate here either, but close..

ah babbling! please email me if you want to trade.

Does any one have any Guava seeds they would be willing to part with? I really would love to grow some new and interesting varieties. We started raising Red wigglers last June and really want to experiment with for propagation. Perhaps I could trad some worm vermicompost for them?
    Thanks.
