| I love to grow heirloom vegetables but many of my plants didn't produce well the last couple of years. I would like to grow a few hybrids this year along with my heirlooms. I'm trying not to spend a lot of money on seeds this year. Since I only need a few of each if anyone has any extra or would like to trade, it would be greatly appreciated.
Here is the list of Hybrid seeds I'm looking for and you can see what I have to trade on my page. I also have quite a few flower seeds I haven't gone through yet so I will be posting those soon. Big Beef

| I grew Brandy Boy last year in the garden and saved some seeds that I'd would be glad to trade you for Onion Evergreen Bunching. However, since it is officially a hybrid -- I don't think the resulting plants will grow true in the second year (although I'm gonna try). Maybe someone has stabilized the Brandy Boy (seven years selective breeding)? I am scaling my varieties back this year to about 24 different varieties with space for about 48 plants. Some will be planted heavier than others based on my experience last year -- where I also had difficulties with disease in a no spray garden. Persimmon, Pineapple and Brandy Boy get (5) each (these were the best and tastiest producers). Black Krim, Black Russian and Purple Casbah get (1) each. All had major problems with disease, but I liked the fruit. Italian Red Cherry, Brandywine, Beefsteak, Big Boy, Golden Jubilee, Italian Heirloom, Italian Market Wonder, Mortgage Lifter, Pantano Romanesco, Sweet 100 and Valencia get (3) each. They each did well, but not outstanding. I like them all for eating, but still not as productive as I would like. Wait, that doesn't add to 48 plants. Typical garden planning. You always want to plant more than you have space for - even when you lay out your garden in a CAD program... |

| Thanks so much for the offer. A friend asked me to grow them for her and I would really like to make sure they are the true tomato. I am updating my tomato want list: Brandy Boy |
