HI, I am a new gardener (two years) near Phoenix, AZ. I am starting to really get the hang of it, and I love growing edibles, and especially unusual edible plants. I hope to share seeds someday, but I really just need to get some now, so that I can continue to 'grow' as a gardener. Would anyone be willing to send me even a few seeds of some sort? Just throwing it out there, because a co-student in my plant biology class told me she acquired many seeds here at GardenWeb.

If you look over the posts you will find offer of seeds for postage (BEAPs), Adopt a Newbie, read them over and you will find the right offers for you to respond too. I see that you do have a few seeds to offer in trade. You might want to stop into your local hardware/garden center(independant may have more unusual seeds) and buy a couple of varieties of something that you would like to grow yourself. Keep some for yourself and trade some. I am including a link to the FAQ's, while they were written many years ago and may be out of date in some ways they still offer valuable info roe new trader.

Thank you love2gardennc! What a helpful response. I went to a local seed exchange last night with the little things I do have, and acquired some new fun seeds to grow! I may just be running out of room to grow things in my yard :) So, I am thinking of moving to NC, how's the gardening there?
