| I work with a group of children who are being raised by family other than their parents called GRG (grandparents raising grandchildren). I do a planting program every April trying to instill in these kids a passion for growing and eating fresh fruits and vegies.
I posted looking for ideas on the conversation page a while back and ricjo22 responded. Ric has sent me a dozen or so different bean and pea seeds (2 of each seed) this has ignited a fire and the idea of giving each of the children a different variety of bean/pea seed to grow has begun. I can see a 'Show & Tell' of beans, YEH! I have mostly flower seeds to trade but I hope that someone out there is a bean fanatic and might find something to trade for from my list. I would need 2 of each type of seed and the names of what you are sending but the seeds can all be jumbled together as long as they don't look alike. Thank you to all who might help. |
