| tried last year to germinate a bunch with no luck. not sure what i did wrong as i've been winter sowing for years now. anyway, would like to try again.

| Tanya, it might be those seeds you tried need stratification.That is, you might have to trick them into sensing that they went through the cold of winter. Soak the seeds overnight. Wet a few layers of coffee filters, squeeze out excess, Arrange the seeds on the filters. Fold the filters up and over the seeds. Pat them down. Put in a Zip-Loc bag and place in the refridgerator for a month or two. Check them periodically because even with the cold, some will put out roots in there. |
