Looking to make some trades?

I am currently looking to make some trades for seeds. Check out my trade list to see what we have, and if you are interested.

I would really love to find any of these seeds. Hatch Chili, Mulberry, Weeping Cherry, Blackberry, and the Echinacea Purple Cornflower.

We do love to grow though, and I would make trades for just about any kind of seeds I do not already have. It doesn't matter if it is Veggie Seeds, Tree Seeds, House Plant Seeds, Outside Flower Seeds etc. . . The only cornflower type I am interested in is the Echinacea Purple Cornflower, but as I said, I am interested in about anything else. I would do a seed trade, or the SASE trades.

Please post a message here, or email me, as I am new on this site and still trying to figure everything out. I think I have it set so that replies go to my email.

Thanks for reading, and any advice on trading or listing my seeds would be appreciated, as I really love this site, and want to learn how to make the most of it.

Hi! I am new to both gardening and this seed exchange web page. I don't have anything really exotic, but would love to arrange a trade if you see anything on my page that interests you! Thanks!

Would like to trade for your tall zinnia and snapdragon; could I send you my list? Doreen.

RE: Looking to make some trades?

Just FYI---Echinacea is coNEflower, not coRNflower---cornflower is Centaurea. (This is why I HATE 'common' names, BTW.)

Wisteria can be grown from seed, but it often takes ten or more years to flower. Also, be VERY careful about planting wisteria---the Chinese kind can eat your house, your septic system, your dog if he's not very fast...(*grin*) Be sure to get one of the native American species, sold under cultivar names such as 'Blue Moon' or 'Amethyst Falls'.

Double-flowered Rose of Sharon are usually sterile, but they're easily grown from cuttings. I have a double dark rose-pink that I will be cutting back soon, if you'd like some cuttings.

Honeysuckle---again be sure to get native American species. The highly invasive Japanese honeysuckle, Lonicera japonica/Lonicera halliana is even worse than wisteria.
