| Hi, I have some seeds from a Noni fruit collected in Honolulu, Oahu in December. The tree was growing along the edge of the parking lot of the Pearl Harbor memorial site. The fruit was brought back to the mainland (this was okay with ag. customs) and refrigerated for a month or so, then I cleaned the seeds out and dried them for several weeks.
This tree is a tropical tree and reported to be hardy to zone 10-11. The seeds are slow to germinate without some pre-treatment, and there is info online. The fruit of this tree is sometimes used as an alternate treatment for cancer. It is supposedly packed with phytochemicals. However be forewarned - the fruit has the foulest smell I've ever smelled in a food substance - like a whole locker room's full of smelly feet in a small package! Puts Limburger to shame! LOL I think that I could mail these in a regular envelop taped flat with a little bubble padding. You will need to send a baggie and 2 stamps in a regular envelop. Please post here if you're interested, and send me an email via GW. Please note the GW email seems to work erratically - my email address is also provided on "My Page". |

| Journey, I just checked this forum, and saw your reply. However, I haven't gotten any emails so figured there was no interest. No this was not a prank - not sure why you got that idea? I really do have the seeds and they were collected in Hawaii. If you still interested, feel free to send an email. |
