According to the rules (linked through the stickied topic at the top of the seed trade section), the site frowns upon requests for seeds or plants unless you are offering a trade.

However, since you are just looking for general seeds - I would suggest visiting your local grocery store, garden store, or wal-mart (or similar store). You can pick up seeds very cheap. If you pick up a couple packets of seed, you can use a few for your garden and then have the rest of the pack for trading.
