New to seed exchanges

I am not new to gardening, I've been planting things here and there for years with some success and some failures. I have recently started a vegetable/fruit garden and am addicted. I'm facinated by the idea of growing my own food and all three of my kids have their own plants they are watching carefully. I am very interested in the seed/plant exchange but being fairly new to the idea have nothing really to offer. I am hoping to be able to offer seeds after our food is harvested. Just wanted to introduce myself. Thanks!

Welcome to a really cool site! I have a wide variety of veggie, herb and flower seeds. Are you looking for anything in particular? I would love to have some of your seeds later on. Sooooo glad your kids like to garden! I loved it when I was young. I am container gardening this year. We had trouble with nematodes last year.I am growing sunflowers for a trap crop for stink bugs. They were really bad last year. I had an instar nymph on one of the sunflowers today. I killed it. So glad the sf works like a charm!

Thank you for the nice welcome. I don't really have anything particular I'm looking for except things I don't already have. We have tomatoes my 5 year old planted from seed, we expect them to start turning red any day now. We have a corn plant my 14 year old found next to our bird feeder, we doubt it will produce anything useable but it's growing so we're letting it. We have lemon cucumbers flowering and some sort of squash, not sure what kind with big yellow flowers, canteloupe my 12 year old is growing, strawberries, radishes, carrots and a potato that was sprouting so I shoved in the ground. It's been fun to watch the progression. I'm a plant and water kinda girl so I still have a lot to learn about insect prevention but I'm keeping an eye out. Again, thank you for the welcome and I hope we can make a trade sometime.
