for those that are not familiar with carob, it is a chocolate substatute, it grows as a large tree, and what you use is the pod, the seeds are the hardest seeds and should not be chewed on, you can break your teeth, it is naturally sweet, and doesn't need any added sugar like chocolate, so it's healthier.
