for "FRESH" Mexican Hats...I need large quanity for my yard,a local wildflower project and local community college wildflower garden. I do not know what part of flowerhead is the seed on the gompherna but I take the dried flowerheads and shred them over flowerbeds and I alwyas have them come up the next year. Tall,open,see-thur plants. Can get up to 3-31/2 ft tall and sprawling...needs room to grow or other stronger stemmed plants to lean on.

Hi, I'd love to trade you for some Gomphrena seeds. I will have some all yellow and some red and yellow Mexican Hat seeds soon. They take awhile to dry on the plant before they are ripe. Last year I had to wait till mid August to pick them. I have some of last years if you can't wait. Or maybe someone in a different zone has them available now. Let me know what you want to do.
