| I am looking for the persian cucumber- it is different from the common cucumber , it's small and thin in size, it is only 4 to 6 inches length.
I have tropical and unusual seeds available to trade : - Fresh Mickey mouse flower - Fresh Kaka Beak Flower or Clianthus ( red and white ) - Red and orange Habanero pepper - Flamboyant, Royal poinciana (red) - Tamarind _ Golden chain Pleas email me and post here first, i will be glad to trade seeds! | Joy if you like the Persian cukes you might also like the Armenian cucumber. It's longer and somewhat curved but the texture and taste are the same. It also doesn't seem as prone to wilt as the regular cukes. |

| Thanks Karyn for suggestion , do you want any of Clianthus ? Do you have any of Armenian cucumber seed ? I bought the Persian seed from Ebay last fall , I sow them in Spring but they aren't Persian cuke . |

| Hi Joy, I'm not sure how I stumbled across this thread... I agree with Karyn that Armenian cucumbers are worth growing. They produce very heavily in our area. I planted some in the narrow side yard on a small trellis. They didn't even get full sun back there. I got far more than we could eat, and they were better than most cucumbers. They got a ton of water and fertilizer, as they were getting the overflow from giant pumpkins I grew that year. If I have any seed left they would probably be over 5 years old at this point. Randy |
