I am just harvesting Bengal Tiger Canna seeds and would love to trade for some Cesar's brother Siberian Iris. These seeds come from a 5 year old plant that has wonderfully survived upstate South Carolina winters. It love the full sun. Let me know an address and I will send some when they dry.

We have some deep red cannas that are over 6' tall. They have been blooming all summer. Just now going to seed. We have never collected seed from them but will do some research. We also have a few cardinal climber seeds for trade. Would like some cosmos if you have. john and linda, Northern Indiana.

I didn't know canna goes to seed, never looked that closely. I will go out right now and see..LOL cause the flowers on top are pretty much done here... mine are deep red over 8 feet tall and usually i just dig up the tubers (?) roots on October 1 and store them in sawdust in the garage to winter over then plant them April 1st here in NJ. (Zone 7) I give away tons of these things to my friends and neighbors cause they multiply like wildfire. When I dig them there are a gazillion more than what I planted in April, so If you want the tubers instead of seeds let me know...I'll take anything on my wantlist seeds or plants... thanks.
