| I have traded twice for this. First time all I received was chaff. Second time it appears I was sent Buddleia, butterfly bush as they are now popping up all over and I was not growing any before.
I have lots of Asclepias curassavica, Tropical Milkweed, host plant for the monarch butterfly. If you don't grow it, you should. It's an annual milkweed. Other seeds - Platycodon, Balloon flower -white purple streaked flowers
I have other seeds as well but need to get a list together. |

| I've got a "volunteer" V. bonariensis blooming at the moment. I've never planted it so something else did. I didn't know what it was until I stumbled across a picture of it here on GW a few days ago. Assuming I'm able to harvest the seeds, I'd be glad to trade them for your balloon flower and/or Lobelia cardinalis. |

| Hi Carol 23, I can guarantee this seed for you as soon as the seeds on the plants sets (1-3 weeks). I cut it all back in August for a 2nd bloom otherwise I could give it to you now. Send me an email with your address and I will make a note to save some fo r you. We can decide what to swap nearer the time. Thanks. Rosaleen |

| Wow, I looked at the photo of the seed and I have to say, unless they are microscoptic, I can't find anything that looks like that when I crumble the seed heads from my plants. My tall verbena blooms are visited by every insect that flies into my yard so I'm assuming some of them were polinated. I've got some potted up with the crumpled seedhead spread over the moist soil surface. I'm curious to see if anything germinates. For those who grow this plant and harvest the seed, can you see the seed? Maybe I just don't know how to properly separate the chaff from the seeds. ~Mary |
