HAVE szechuan peppercorn-Zanthoxylum piperitum

this small thorny woody shrub makes the spicy numbing flavor in szechuan food. It grows easily as a potted plant and mine made peppercorns in its third year. mine survived zone 5 winters in a pot heeled in. but a very cold dry winter killed its upper branches so now i protect it during the winter in an unheated shelter . i think it could take zone 6 in the ground. i only have enough seed for a few small trades. i started with 8 oz. of hulls from a spice shop which still contained a few dozen seeds. only one germinated. fresh seed fall planted germinates well

I would love seed of the Zanthoxylum Piperitum. I can offer
seeds of the Vitex or Lilac Chaste. It has pretty blue flowers.
