| Although this is exchange forum,i thougt this might be the most appropriate place for me to post this since it has to do with seed saving.
The long type bottle gourd, I missed one on the vines. When i noticed, it was already hard and inedible. So, I picked it and left it out in the sun to dry. After several days it was still not fully dry, I broke it open. As expected only a few seeds near the bottom end were ripe and ready for saving as seed. I was surprised though to see four of those ripe seeds already germinated inside the fruit. Never seen that before. Have you? |

| I've had that happen with tomatoes and apples. Thought it was pretty cool. Nel. |
