Be careful with eBay purchases of this. Not only do most not sprout, when I got some the USDA showed up flashing their badges for "importing without a license". I thought that was the responsibility of the seller, but it is not. The buyer must have the import license. 5 years ago, it was $25.

but yeah totally, ALL citrus seed needs to be kept wet to germinate, right from the fruit. if they do dry out they might be still viable for a very short period of time, but ideally they never dry out at all.

i have also been looking for citrus seed, it seems pretty hard to find, and that doesnt help that they cant be dried and stored.

you can wrap them in a paper towel and put in the fridge to store, but they key is to never let them dry. it is best to get the actual fruit, any citrus that you eat...citrus grows true to type so the seed will produce the same kind of fruit as what you ate....

Wow... that is crazy about the license... doesn't our government have bigger things to focus on?
