WANTED: Starting my winter garden

I am looking to expand the plants that I have growing for my fall/winter garden that do well in the cooler weather in the SoCal region. I have kale, collards, and chard currently growning but I have no idea what else you can grow in this season. If anyone have sugguestions or seeds that they know would grow, I do have a few kinds of seeds to trade:

Also I am looking for smaller flowering plants that do great in the shade to plant under one of my bay windows. It gets very minimal sun, and shade loving plants should do well in this area.

Check out my trade list if you have any seeds that you would like to trade me for.

RE: WANTED: Starting my winter garden

peas, carrots, potatoes, garlic, beets, onions, greens/lettuce...among other things of course are good for planting now. you can also winter sow some things that should come up early in the spring, like hibiscus, hollyhocks, and a lot of perennials like trees, fruit and bushes.

that said i might have some things on my trade list, like red cabbage and others that are good for winter gardening in a temperate climate.

Here is a link that might be useful: my trade list
