Help! Does Anyone Have Any Marigold Pollen?

| I am in desperate need of help. My daughter planted marigold seeds in school late last spring. We have babied the two plants all summer and when the weather got too cold here we brought it inside and put it in a sunny window. I never thought about how to pollinate it. There are two plants from different seeds in the same pot, one is just starting to bloom and the other is just budding. We have already had snow here so all of my other marigolds are long gone. My daughter is hoping to collect seeds to plant again next spring. Most of my plants are dormant but could pay for postage, trade hens and chicks and possibly something else.

| I don't have pollen but I do have plenty of seeds you can have, although they aren't yellow. |

| We still have dwarf Petite Yellow blooming, here,...also dwarf orange ones with crimson centers. Email me with your address and I can send blooming plants/flower heads/seeds. |

| hi fellow utahn!! I have seeds you can have send me an address and I will send them off to you. i you want to try to pollinate yours, maybe Qtip to transfer from on plant to the other? or rub the flowers together for pollination. Wort a try. Let me know. |

I was a Utard too.!
shaking the little flowers together should help them pollinate. I used a paintbrush with my zuccini. I can send a head or two off in the mail, shouldnt take more than a day or two.
