| This beautiful plant, though rated zone 5, has been hardy here in zone 4 for more than 10 years. Looks like an 18" wisteria. Very rare.
I have 1 trade of 8 seeds. I want something really special for this. Please check my Want list as I won't take common things in trade for this rare seed. Please post here. |

| Hello, I have seeds of Blue Silk Japanese Morning Glory, which is also Akatsuki no Tsuyu. Is this one you offer an easy one to germinate? I'll wager it will require a winter season to wake up. Joseph |

| Oops, just realized I added an extra "i" to the species name of this plant. Sheesh! Gerris, the seeds of Indigofera generally are warm germinators (I've started amblyantha and heterophylla from seed). Though I've not started kirilowii from seed (it's easier for me to divide my plant), according to Plants for the Future database, the seeds should be soaked for 12 hours in warm water, then sown under warm conditions; germination is erratic so some patience is required. In other words, no long winter wait as you implied. Kate |
