No need to insult GW, Mr. or Ms. Nameless314 - not very conducive to fostering trading relationships here. What you are seeking is an uncommon variety and not many people have them or have had enough time to grow them out to have extra seeds for trading.

Lots of members do not frequent the GW Seed Exchange, especially during the holiday season...

Did you consider doing a GW site search of member's seed lists? I did a quick search, took 20 seconds, which listed six members who have the scorpion listed on their seed lists and available for trade (assuming their lists are current).

Have you checked out the GW Hot Pepper forum? Might find some leads in there regarding who on GW is growing them, to find possible sources for trading.

Have you done a GW forum search regarding your subject of interest? Results will show all threads and posts regarding the scorpion. You can chase the most recent threads and posts for possible trade leads or retail sources.

Also check out pepperjoe.com. What you seek might be available for purchase there. If not, he will have that variety available sooner or later. Until then it is still a great hot pepper resource. Pepper Joe's is one of the places where I got some of my killer hot varieties (I am not interested in doing seed trades at this time).

I have received some killer hot varieties in trades with nice folks here on GW and from serious chiliheads in other online hot pepper forums on other sites. Be warned - IMO it is not wise to think you can just do a quick join so you can jump on a hot pepper forum expecting people to give or trade you seeds. Those forums are communities and don't take kindly to fly-by-nighters who just join because they want something. Have some patience, take some time, do some reading, learn some stuff, maybe get involved in some of the conversations, and get to know some of the other people who are interested in this fascinating hobby. Seeds (and friendships) will come your way as a result.

Hope you find what you seek.
-Tom
