Wanted: Hot purple pepper

| Grew these years ago but don't think I ever knew the name of them. They were about an inch long, deep purple in color, and very hot. |

| Hi the pepper you describe sounds like Filius Blue. They grew on a relatively short compact plant and turned deep red when mature. the peppers were gumdrop shaped. I didnt save any filius blue but I have one just like it i can trade to you. The only diff i can see is the plant is a little larger and stronger. i get about 80 peppers per plant and the heat is about 24,000 units when purple and with the seeds. I let them mature and the red seedless product is much milder |

Purple Maui ? 95 days. Capsicum annuum. Plant produces high yields of 1 �" long by �" wide hot peppers. Peppers are extremely hot, grow upright, and turn from dark purple to red when mature. Plant has dark purple stems, green and dark purple leaves, and violet-purple flowers. A variety from Hawaii, USA. |
