| Does anyone know if orange rocket is patented? My plant gives me lots of seed that come true and I'd like to know if it's OK to trade the seed. |

| Per the link below, I think it is fine. From the link Asexual reproduction is the propagation of a plant to multiply the plant without the use of genetic seeds to assure an exact genetic copy of the plant being reproduced. Any known method of asexual reproduction which renders a true genetic copy of the plant may be employed. Acceptable modes of asexual reproduction would include but may not be limited to: Also...though it may appear to come true, it might be a tad different, to the point of not being noticeable. My, that is a pretty barberry. chemocurl...aka Sue oh...and yes Orange Rocket appears to be patented.

| It is ok to trade PVP seed as long as there is no financial gain. Meaning, you can't grow the plant, and then sell the fruit off of it at a farmers market, etc. You also can't sell the seed. |
