Just in case you hadn't thought of it, look around your area for stores that have the bulk bins for rice, flour, beans, nuts, etc.

Around here (W. WA), that's Fred Meyer (Kroger) and the health food stores. I've tried sprouting many of the beans and seeds they sell, and EVERYTHING has sprouted except the milled (hulled) kinds. They offer two or three kinds of lentils, and often six or more kinds of beans. If they sprout, they should grow. The prices are reasonable, and for a couple of spoonfuls, very low compared to packaged seeds.

Another source is Bob's Red Mill. It's online (also thru Amazon) and some stores carry many of their varieties: beans 12 kinds), wheat (incl. spelt and kamut), quinoa, amaranth, etc.
