This looks perfect for me too. Sorry I don't have any for you, but if someone responds that has plenty I'd really be interested. I'll look around and see if I can find us some!

    Thank You, domehome.
I have exhausted all my resources, and combed through the internet with no luck. VERY difficult seed to come by.
It's Endangered here in NY and I'd like to grow quite a bit of it for next year ;-)

thosedarnsqurls - Hope you found the offer too.
I've got my self-addressed envelope ready to go out tomorrow. With any luck I'll get a patch of this started so the seeds aren't so hard to find. I'm growing five varieties of milkweed so far and I'm always looking for new ones to try. I live in a California Live Oak forest so I have lots of shady spots. If this will grow at the forest edge it would be a real plus for me, my full sun space is limited.

Guess I should have collected my seeds! I have some of these that are 3' tall and blooming size in my garden. They arent so rare in my neck of the woods. As a matter of fact my husband hit some with a weed eater this past summer thinking they were weeds! There were growing in our ditch so I didnt hold it against him. Funny how some plants are rare in some areas but not others. I cant seem to locate wild geranium around here but from what I have read its fairly common, but I have been looking around here for years to no avail! The roots on these are like a huge tuber. I have accidentally broke the top off moving them ( from the ditch and into my beds ) and they still did just fine.

I have some milk weed plants in my yard. Not the ones stated here; but I get a lot of monarchs and catapillars every year. If you let me know when and how to harvest you can have most. I'm in AG by the hospital. Cathy
