| Just some advice for anyone who is growing luffas, I have grown them for many years and here's some advice. 1. Start them very early if you have a short growing season. 2. Have a massive trellis because each plant can easily occupy 400 square feet of space. 3. Make sure they get a lot of water once they are going. 4. Don't grow too many of them close together as crowding reduces production. 5. Add a micro-nutrient such as azomite or rock dust because that will improve their production. |
