Gosh they are gorgeous birds. I always have wanted some, but it seems they only come in straight run from all the hatcheries. Maybe this year at the Great NYS Fair I can get one! DH will jsut roll his eyes!

Really great pic Whiskeyman, they are awesome looking birds. There is another wonderful pic of Golden Seabrights further down the page, "Random Assortment of Critters." I fell in love with them instantly when I saw those pics, so I ordered five for this year, straight run, but I don't mind roosters, I will be constructing another coop though, oh brother.

I love the GSs too. It looks like God drew every feather individually. How is their attitude? I've been under the assumtion that most Bantys think they are big chickens with twice the moxie. Kind of like teacup poodles. I really spent a long time deciding whether to get some or not, but decided against it because they would be a tasty treat for my cat. He can't bother my big Buff Orp girls.
Thanks for sharing the pics. Beautiful birds!

In my experience, Golden Sebrights DO have a lot of moxie. We've got one, a hen, and she thinks she's a rooster. She bosses around the bigger hens as if she was twice their size, and was very good at escaping from the pen until I found the hole she was using. She even tries to crow!
