farming on the web?

hey guys! i'm not trying to overrun the forum with stupidity but i have a "free" service to offer that may be of interest to someone. first off, self-sustained living is the one thing that i'm working towards. everything that happens until then is a stepping stone to the life that i want. i just so happen to be skilled at web design. i just finished school in december and i need to build my portfolio. i was wondering if there's anyone out there that wants to put themselves on the net. whether it's your farm or you want to make a photo gallery for family across the country to see your kids growing up, i'm interested! if you've get the edge on a new organic system, or you want to sell your produce, i'm interested! i will create basic, up to 3 page sites for free. the reason i said "free" earlier is b/c if you're selling something or you want a business optimized site, i'll do the work for half price. i just want to build my portfolio, guys. so that i can be on my way to buying the land that will support my family. thanks for taking the time to read this and i look forward to hearing from you!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but this thread stays on top until someone responds? If so, this is a response.

It stays on the top to increase the likelihood of it getting at least one relevant response. After enough time the system automatically lets it fall, but as such it is unlikely to get a response now that you dropped it.

Some unasked for advice that I hope you'll find helpful: You need to polish up a lot before you'll be taken seriously. Sit back and look at what you've written here. Why does someone want a website that doesn't contain a capital letter or proper grammar? It's a nice offer and I hope you'll be able to build your portfolio. Good luck.

Robin at fist I though you were talking to me, and I was a little upset I thought I did alright. Then it occurred to me that I hadn't really read the first post ... I stopped after I got started because there was no capitalization.

so i prefer non-capitalized words over the usual, boring letters. it's a freakin web forum, not literature 101. one thing i've noticed about this forum is so many people are quick to criticize others and pass judgment. we're supposed to be a community of like-minded people, yet "live and let live" is completely forgotten in a world where we're all trying to escape conformity. i have received several responses from this post, but thanks for your input and i hope it made your day to edit my post. if you've got nothing nice to say.... well, you know.
