I guess you could read the posts where I tried to explain just that !

Andalusian blue:
this is a modified black, if the bird carries 2 genes for nigrum(EE) it will be black,,if it has ine gene for blue(b) it will be blue,, if it has 2 copies of the blue(b) gene it will be splash.

your black Austrolop or Orp(they are the same thing actually) carries no blue gene but bred to the blue it will produce blue and black chicks.

there is another blue called self blue which is really lavender and does breed true. the symbol is (Lav). blue D'Anvers are lavebder: blue Andalusians, blue rocks, hamburgs, Orpingtons, etc are Andalusian blue.

Not really, buff can be a complicated color. No splash should result tho. I dont know a lot about the genetic make up of the buff color. As a matter of fact, there is a lot on color I'm not too up on. I really only paid attention to varieties I worked with.
