How Do I Soak a Hen Butt for Egg Binding?

Hi all! I haven't been here in a while but come here especially when a problem arrises...always can count on folks here for help!

We have a hen who we think may be egg bound. I've read to soak them in warm water, massage and apply olive oil. So my question is...how do I actually soak a chicken butt? Guess that sounds like a silly question but never tried it before! Thanks in advance...

Treat her ASAP, as egg binding can quickly exhaust her and become fatal.
