it looks like the beginning of a comb to me
i cant think of the correct term/word type
that wyandottes have but its somewhat similar to type of comb that silkies have and the correct wyandottes will have a rather flat comb .

Looks like the beginnings of a comb to me. I am not sure of the correct name either. I have heard it called either a rose comb or pea comb.

I agree on the beginning of a comb. Wyandotte's grow rose combs typically, the difference between a rose comb and a pea comb is in essence the little spike that sticks out backwards (they are also flatter and slightly wider).

It's just her comb coming in. :) That little orangey tint to it along the beak edge isn't unusual in youngsters. As she matures and comes into lay, her comb will get redder and plumper. If 'she' is in fact, a 'he', it will get redder and bigger in the next few months, sooner rather than later!

Is your bird looking or acting sick in any other way? If so, what are the symptoms? If it's just the comb color thing, I wouldn't worry. She hasn't been eating anything orange, has she...? Cheetos are yummy, but leave that annoying orange powder. :)
