building a coop out of old windows

and CHICKEN wire...I have a lot of old windows that I was thinking I could recycle and cover the frames with chicken wire and build an enclosure. I don't have any chickens yet, but want to try raising some for eggs, just wondered if this would be a reasonable way to build a coop for them. any suggestions?

I think you missed my plan. it was to cover the frames with chicken wire, and that would of course be after removing the glass. I guess I should ask if anyone else has done this before. I don't really see any reason it wouldn't work, but it might be overkill since you could probably just build a frame and cover it with chicken wire.
