Kitten with closed eye

The litter of kittens opened their eyes 6 days ago but one has only one eye open. We aren't sure if it opened with the rest and maybe got scratched by a litter mate or didn't ever open.

Does anyone have ideas about this? The kittens are almost three weeks old now and other than this, very fat healthy little hands-full.

Heat some saline (the stuff used for contact lenses), or mix a quart of boiled water with a teaspoon of salt and let it cool to lukewarm.

Wet a cotton ball in the saline and bathe the kitten's eye with it a couple times a day. They get a crusty deposit that sort of glues their eyes shut.
