We only have 1 duck, so I know that her eggs are not fertile, but she is making a nest and has 14 eggs so far. The nest is located under a bench in some pine needles. She does not sit on them. What do we do? Pick them up?
We had rouen ducks a while back and picked their eggs up and they resorted to making their nest in the woods after that, where they were attacked and killed.
We don't want the same thing to happen, but I know we can't leave the eggs where they are forever....
Please help.
