Noticed one of my geese was really weak on Wednesday. She was doing really well previously, and also sitting on 5 eggs. She will be one year old in July.She did get up and out to eat and drink, and run around with the others. She's very weak, and stumbles when trying to walk, but does remain standing, rarely sits, she's very thin. She did eat a little yesterday, but won't today. Still drinking a little water now and then. Not sitting on the eggs anymore. All the other birds are thriving as well as before, I'm watching them closely. I DID loose a 3 year old chicken about a weak ago to a similar set of symptoms, all the other chickens are very well as usual. No dead birds in area that I know of, a lot of healthy ones flying around, though. Too early/cold for mosquitos(west nile), no bird flu reported either.
