Jenny, I don't know if your goats will eat bread, I guess you could try it. I doubt if mine would, but they love crackers and chips! But, I try to keep it nutritious. I give mine cut up apples as a treat every night, or carrots. They love them. I also give mine raisins and I buy horse treats called "Nicker Makers" at the feed store. They are a Purina product.

It is perfectly okay to feed them scraps of bread or anything else they want as long as you do it in moderation. They just don't need so many carbs all the time. A little each day is okay. Contrary to popular belief goats (at least mine) don't eat "everything" but they do end up eating parts of your landscaping that you don't want them to! We feed ours apples, crackers, bread, etc as small snacks.

Mine won't eat bread either. Raisins, horse snacks, and watermelon. One will eat apples but the other two won't.
